This is a sample bill for home owners help you better understand the breakdown
on your payment every month. You will see precisely the amount of solar dedicated to your account.

BILL FRONT PAGE

1. ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION CHARGES

This is the charge per kWh for the amount of electricity consumed.

2. SP LOW TENSION TARIFF

This is the tariff price that SP charges for low tension customers in the market. SP low tension tariff changes quarterly. Sun Electric charges you a discounted price based off this tariff, therefore giving you a discount off tariff (DOT). Tariff prices can be found on the Energy Market Authority (EMA).

3. BILLING PERIOD

Electricity consumption between these dates will be charged in this invoice.

4. DISCOUNT OFF TARIFF (DOT)

This DOT rate is specified in your electricity supply contract.

1. TOTAL CONSUMPTION RATIO

The pie chart shows the ratio of solar generated electricity (yellow) to conventional electricity (grey) that you have consumed over the course of the month.

2. DAYTIME CONSUMPTION RATIO

The pie chart shows the ratio of solar generated electricity (yellow) to conventional electricity (grey) that have consumed during the daytime, over the course of the month.

3. AVERAGE DAILY CONSUMPTION

This is how your household’s daily electricity consumption looks like, averaged over the month. Yellow represents the proportion of solar electricity consumed against the total amount of electricity consumed (solar + conventional), which is represented in grey.

4. CONSUMPTION PER PERIOD

This is the historical monthly electricity consumption data of your household. Yellow represents the proportion of solar generated electricity consumed against the total amount of electricity consumed (solar + conventional), which is represented in grey.

Note: Daytime refers to the average time our solar generators start generating to the average time they stop generating. This is typically from 7:00am to 7:30pm.
